11 and 14 year old year old brothers in Hillsboro looking for help M-F from 2:30pm-7pm and some Saturdays. Also potentially needing help M-F in the mornings 6am-9am. You would work with both kids, splitting the hours between them. The 11 year old has a great smile and sense of humor, and he is very playful and Friendly. He enjoys singing, dancing, playing video games and watching movies/shows. He thrives with Stability in his schedule and routine, being encouraged and praised for his efforts. He needs help with increasing his independence with personal hygiene, learning to wipe after toileting, increasing his ability to communicate his needs/wants with others, and support out in the community to engage in activities safely. The 14 year old is a very happy and fun kid who loves to give hugs. His tablet, family and cat are very important to him but he also loves camping, cars, outside, video games, and movies. He needs help with increasing his independence with hygiene, getting him to work on his chores, decreasing challenging behaviors, getting out into the community, and learning about and understanding money. DSP should be patient, able to navigate mood swings, provide structure, and can engage him in the activities they enjoy as well as have a positive , quiet and calm personality. There are cats in the home and DSP should be able to drive clients. Parents will reimburse mileage.
