Tyler, based in NW Portland, is a compassionate and experienced DSP available Sunday through Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, seeking up to 20 hours per week. He has a strong background supporting individuals with special needs, including two years of classes focused on assisting students and hands-on experience caring for his mother after a liver transplant, where he prepared meals, ran errands, and managed medications. Tyler is eager to work one-on-one with children and young adults aged 5–30, building meaningful connections and helping them thrive. He is comfortable supporting individuals with high medical needs, assisting with bathing, toileting, lifting, and transferring, and working around pets or smoking environments. Tyler is LGBTQ+ friendly, dedicated, reliable, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of those he supports. While he can drive clients, he is less comfortable with public transportation.
