Katrina (Kat)

Kat is a deeply dedicated and compassionate caregiver based in SE Portland who finds the work profoundly meaningful, bringing reliability, empathy, and strong skills to every client she supports. She is seeking a full-time position but is willing to begin on a part-time basis and offers open availability. With extensive experience in both companionship and comprehensive personal care, Kat has worked with Helping Hands Home Care and provided intensive, hands-on support for her mother-in-law with dementia until her passing. She is experienced in and open to assisting with bathing and hygiene, meal preparation, client transfers, medication administration, toileting, and complex care needs, as well as providing warm and supportive companionship for clients who simply need a caring presence. Kat is comfortable in a wide range of home environments, including those with pets such as cats and dogs, and is also fine in homes where cannabis smoke may be present. She is fully equipped to offer transportation using her own insured vehicle and is equally comfortable accompanying clients on public transit or riding in their vehicle.
