We are currently looking to hire an outgoing and caring individual to support a 11 year old girl and their family with her care.
She wants to spend time out in the community and needs help facilitating interactions with other kids. She is creative and loves crafting. She is super curious. She is helpful.
She has a mild intellectual disability, ADHD, anxiety, and OCD
She needs help planning activities and understanding the world around her to stay safe.
She is working on communication skills, activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
Schedule: Weekdays after school and evenings. Weekends day is flexible with one each week.
Candidate Must have-
- Valid Drivers License and Insurance Coverage.
- Good communication skills. Allow time for understanding.
- Attentiveness and patients allowing to allow her to express herself.
- Be able to redirect as needed.

As a Kangaroo Caregiver, you will provide in-home assistance with activities of daily living (ADL’s) to support and maximize our client’s quality of life. Kangaroo Care delivers the training and resources to give our caregivers top-quality skills in a meaningful work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help plan and assist in preparing some meals, including serving, if necessary
- Assist with dressing, grooming
- Assist in daily living activities and needs
- Participate in life enriching activities
- A caregiver may assist with medication reminders and medical needs
- Complete required documentation
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Record and report changes in client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance
- Other duties may be needed or assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
