We are currently looking to hire a compassionate individual for a 8 year old male supporting his family with his care.
He is very social. He has many friends. He is always listening. He is good at following rules. He loves arts and crafts. He loves animals. He loves soccer and basketball. He likes to make balloon animals. He likes trading Pokémon cards.
He needs support after school and evenings with homework, emotional regulation skills, and socialization. They need help during transitions and while communicating with adults.
They have a history of yelling, threatening, and property damage. They struggle with oral hygiene, bathing, and leaving the house.
Weekdays: 2-4 hours after school and evenings. Weekends are occasional and flexible.
Candidate Must have-
- Valid Drivers License and Insurance Coverage.
- Unique communication challenges requiring patience and understanding
- Must enjoy outdoor activities
- Must be able to provide occasional assistance/reminders for the restroom and personal hygiene

As a Kangaroo Caregiver, you will provide in-home assistance with activities of daily living (ADL’s) to support and maximize our client’s quality of life. Kangaroo Care delivers the training and resources to give our caregivers top-quality skills in a meaningful work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help plan and assist in preparing some meals, including serving, if necessary
- Assist with dressing, grooming
- Assist in daily living activities and needs
- Participate in life enriching activities
- A caregiver may assist with medication reminders
- Complete required documentation
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Record and report changes in client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance
- Other duties may be needed or assigned
Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
